Giac settings?
I have a quick question I just talk to my Giac dealer who flashed my car a few weeks ago and just got a phone call that my hand held unit should be in on Monday. Now he told me that the unit it self would cost 150 and the stock tune was free. I was like OK sounds good so then I asked him about the different tune setting since I only have the flash done and no other mods I wanted to just have stock/stage 1/ and race gas or 100oct tune. he then told me the price for that would be 150 for the unit and 200 for the 100oct tune? for a total of 350? is this true? I thought that stage 1 was $800 and stage 2 was $1000 difference of $200.00 I'm not sure if he is telling me right and if so why $200 and its not stage2?

Because the race map on stage 1 is based on more aggressive timing advance table on top of the STAGE 1. Stage 2 is a completely different calibration.

Wait ? if you dont have the supporting mods you ll have to wait before getting stage 2 , if your stock you ll need stage one, 800$ ,With stage one you can add a 100 octane option with the handheld switcher, but this is still not stage 2.
