Coins got stuck in cupholder:/

Topictitle says it all,

My wife(!!!!

) threw some coins in the cupholder and now they are stuck...
I tried to get them out with some tweezers but with no effect...the thing won't close anymore and worse, I lost 25 eurocents.

I have to go to the dealer to get it fixed.

So WARNING to you all , don't throw coins in the cupholder....

25 cents? That is serious

. How about trying something like a small screwdriver with a drop of superglue. You might be able to lift it enough to get a grip with tweezers or needle-nose pliers.

Same thing happened to me but with the ashtray. I don't smoke so I use the it as a coin holder. I filled it too much and a quarter got wedged into the mechanism. Had to use pliers to retrieve the coin.

I don't use the cup holder, but I recall someone said you can remove it and use it to keep your sunglasses.

For the coins I use the ashtray, but not more than £2.67 ... very little money I have since bought the car

Fixed. And 25 cents richer!!!!!111111!!!11!!

They used some 'strange' tiny tweezers, dunno they existed. Thanx dealership.

Lucky you and you mean to say that the dealer didn't sting you for a minimum 1 hour labour?
