Surprisingly, and depending on how you handle your taxes, leasing, and then buying at the end of the lease period, may be cheaper than buying it outright from day one. And if there is anything you are not fully satisfied with your vehicle, you get to walk away unscathed at the end of your term.

Again, this may not be for everyone, but if you can deduct your lease payments, leasing and then buying may be less expensive... so leasing may not necessarily mean "I'm not in love with you".

99.9% of the time this is not the case. Could happen, but most likely not.

FWIW, the I asked the CA who sold me the car what the breakdown of buy vs lease for the 3,5,7. He has been working at the same dealer for 10 years:
buy vs. lease
3 - 33/67
5 - 50/50
7- 67/33

Unscientific but interesting.
