M3 Test Mule in So. Cal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Driving down Ventura Blvd in Encino.
I see two BMW coupe mules coming towards me.
Goose Bumps !!!!
One was THE MULE !! the other was another coupe mule, with a single exhaust.

When I get home, Camera Phone Pix and Video to follow.....

needless to say, I chased them down Ventura for about 6 miles....
The driver looked like a tool...... what a poos on his face.....

Anyway, look for photos and video in the next few hours when I can get them up....

It would be nice if they had test mules on the east coast.

california if you think aobut it has almost all the conditions a car company could ask for. Bumper to bumper traffic. Sea level, altitude, twisties, below sea level test (death valley) and desert. Also, a lot of the emissions labs are out here so they bring it here.

I hope to see this mule down in the OC shortly then.

Their private test facitlity is up in Oxnard/Ventura, so that's why they are usually up this way.

Audi/VW has one up here too.

I just saw an X5 mule between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo on Friday. It looked like a performance model based on the wide wheels and tires. (Sorry no pic). Definitely "Bangle-ized" though, and looked a bit more sleek than the current model. They had all the disguise cladding on the car, but you could definitely see the sharp line down the flanks like the new 3 has.

Don't count on it. Sometime next year--I'm betting later rather than sooner.
