F10 hesitate/jerk but no longer after 2000km

My F10 is now at 2,600 km. During the initial stage of driving, I found jerkiness when driving very slow starting off in the morning because of road condition (humps and parked cars along the road) near my home. This is as complained in the other thread. Now, however, my F10 is smooth, smoother than my E90. My guess is that there are 2 reasons for this. The engine/gears are new and not broken in. Next, the drivetrain adapts to the driver's driving style, as in any other BMW car.

The reason for my starting this thread is to check with F10 owners who have at least 2000 km covered, as regards your experience.

I found the same thing. My wife drives the F10 daily so I don't drive it much.
However, I did complain to the dealer because I was experiencing the same poor throttle response when starting from a dead stop when I did drive it.
They explained that it takes time for the car to adapt to your driving style and it's nothing to worry about.
Now after several thousand miles, it seems to be much smoother for me. Either the car is settling in or I've just gotten better at feathering the throttle! I have always found the problem to be less pronounced in sport mode though.

I agree with this.

I agree. Same thing has happened to me too. I am glad; I was beginning to think I was going to have to sell the car.

4000 km, and the jerkiness seems to be gone. Pure joy now.

I'm at 6000 kms. In Sport I can definitely feel the transmission mulching around during braking to a halt. Not very pronounced but something you can definitely sense through seat of the pants. The shifts are also not what I would call smooth but I guess the trade off is faster shifting in Sport. In Comfort everything is much smoother but overall this ZF transmission is still no match for the Mercedes 7speeder.
