UPDATE: Hit and run

Most of you probably know that some asshole hit me and decided that it was a good idea to try and run. I was able to chase him far enough so that I could get his license plate numbers and also had a couple of witnesses that were kind enough to follow me after I took off to catch him.

Luckily, the car was properly registered and also insured, which happened to be the same insurance company as mine. But of course they denied that it was their car that was ever involved in such an "accident".

Anyways, after a couple months worth of work (thanks to my attorney), the other party accepted full liability and I'm getting it fixed under their policy. I just got back from getting the car looked at by the insurance adjuster and he came up with about $2,800 worth of repairs. I'm probably once the shop takes apart the car, they are going to find a lot more stuff and probably going to be over 5k worth of damages/ repairs.

As for the body shop, I think I'm going to take it to Haury's, they seem to have a pretty good rep from the BMW community. Plus, I get to get a M3 as a loaner car or a cooper S (hopefully).

For insurance, I would say Bellevue Auto Rebuild would be a great place to go too. Or Bel-Red Auto Rebuild (always see lots nice and exotic cars ther).

Sadly I ditched my 335 once (best not to ask). I took it to Haury's and I'm happy to say they did an excellent job. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to car repairs. Especially when it comes to matching the texture of the pain. I'll go back to Haury's if I ever need repairs done on a BMW.

Damn, you're going to rent the E90 M3? I wanted to rent the E36 M3, but its 100+ if you're not a member of the BMW club. Think the E90 M3 is 300+.

I rented their white 325i, had some good memories in that car.
