Upper front seat trim removal ?

Hi All,

I've just got a new E92 and am loving it, unfortunately I am a bigger guy and am finding the side bolsters too tight (played with all adjustments)

I've researched and been advised fixing the problem is as simple as replacing the current padding with something thinner which in theory sounds simple enough however Im not sure of potential issues removing the leather trim and padding from the chair.

Has anyone done this ? My specific concerns relate to:

1. Can it be done ?
2. if so how ?
3. Is there an air bag in the seat and will these need to be re-packed ?

Thanks in advance

Dylan
