Only a week and a half for my first speeding ticket!

I was driving home for lunch, fiddling with the satellite radio, and with the diesel running at such low rpm, i didnt realize how fast I was going. The cop waiting just outside my subdivision did

!

He was nice enough to lower it to 9 mph over the limit though, he liked the car, and didnt even know BMW made diesels hehe! I should have told him it was the engine that was going to be in the carbon motors cop car!

you need to get a laser jammer

Dang, already... I at least waited until 2 month before I received my first speeding ticket in the 335. I was popped after I had forgotten to turn the detector back on after cleaning the windows. Doh! A detector is a good investment.

the bimmer drives so smooth you have no idea how fast you are going. I highly suggest the valentine one! I eventually want a laser jammer too

i am still getting used to the feel of the 335d, my previous car was a e60 530i, which did feel different (ironically the 3 series has a smoother ride!). I have always stayed away from radar detectors, kind of a way to force me to pay attention, now I have to deal with the penalty of not paying attention hehe.
