Smoked Taillights

I've always wanted to have smoked taillights on my e92 but don't know how to come about to do it.

What is the difference between blacklines or just spraying them with VHT night shade or placing black transparent decals over them?

blacklines will give your rear a wider, meaner look.

Edit: re-read your post & realized you have an e92, pics are of e90.
No such thing as blacklines for e92.

They don't make blacklines for the e92.

This? I had them tinted via film by Shinzo...definitely give it a try. If you don't like it, it's removable. My bodyshop tells me it's a touchy subject when it comes to tinting(painting) your light. Sometimes it gets heated up too much and certain spots starts to blotch.

I was going to post a FT for regular lights since I upgraded to LCI E92 lights, and do some good for e90p. But I figured unless it was a 2008+ E92 ..there would be compatibility issues.

That looks pretty darn good. Where would I be able to find Shinzo Werks to do this? and how much did it cost you?

I forget the actual, but it was less than $100 for sure.

Would it be better to do it from Shinzo or just use the VHT night shade and spray it on?

VHT makes it more permanent and will start to wear and fade over time. Shinzo is a vinyl, more durable and can be removed easily if you change your mind.

I'm not familiar with the final effect of VHT...I opted for Shinzo(or any kind of film) because if it gets worn I can replace it. If I get tired of it, I can just rip it off.
