Will 18" wheels fit in the trunk??

Going to be swapping out my staggered 18" wheels/tires with winter tires but I was wondering if the at least two of them will fit in the trunk of an e92 coupe? I'm just concerned the height of the trunk won't accomodate two tires since they are wide. Anyone here with a coupe know? I plan to put the other two behind the front seats (also not sure if it will fit).

Thanks

You can fit 2 19's in the back seat and 2 in the trunk no problem.

Yes, you can get all four of them inside the car if you fold the seat down.

They will fit in at least a couple different ways. I usually load in two from
the trunk. I slide one forward so most of it is on the folded down seats and the other is in the trunk. The other two I load in from the side doors, one from each side, and angle it so that it rests on the forward tire.

No problems for that, I've fit 4 wheels and 4 rubbers in there no problem with the seats down.

weiweiwei why don't you put the wheels in the garbage bags instead of on top of them?

You can put 2 x 225/40-18 in the trunk and put the 245/35-18 rear tires in the back seat (seats down, of course).

Thanks guys for all the tips. In the end, two wheels will just not clear the height of the trunk (yes, I tried the front tires that were a little more narrow but no luck). Ended up with 1 rear in the trunk and 3 across the rear seats.

just changed to winter sets 2 weeks back. You can put 2 in the trunk by putting them at an angle but I didn't want the rims hitting each other so I put one in trunk and 2 stacked on one rear seat & 1 on the other seat. Just push passenger seat back so it will hold it there. Bag all the wheels so it won't dirty your car.

i love the fact that weiweiwei took pics of the ordeal. lol.. with my cream beige interior, I dont know if i want to attempt this.. Two in the trunk is ok, but i dont want thenm anywhere near my back seat, even if they are folded down.. hmm. I might pay for the swap + storage again this year bc i'm lazy..
