I'd say that's one of the nicer renders I've seen!

From what they say, it looks like there's a lot of new technology heading to the new 3. Emphasis on safety and conservation.

Render does look good, but I question how accurate it really is. F30 is evolutionary, not revolutionary. The bottom part of the bumper is too Mazda3 smiley for me, but the rest looks great.

Agree the rendering does look great, but did anyone read the article? Sounds like they're packing on as much expensive, heavy, complicated, breakable safety BS as they can. Why has everyone given up on light, simple, and inexpensive?

I remember having a debate about whether or not Audi will be dropping 300lbs with their next car A4. It was my argument that they will not do so. Your issue with the next 3 comes from the same reason. So many consumers compare features using a line item "spreadsheet method".

Car A has 9 airbags.
Car A has x cubic feet of front, back, and trunk space. More space than the competitor
Car A has heated seating for 5 that recognizes you by the contour of your butt cheeks
Car A has a 91 speaker sound system.
"" rear facing camera
"" fully motorized and adjustable seats
"" Navigation
"" low noise (db) when cruising (more sound insulation)

"Does car B have these features? No, well I guess I'll cross it off the list."

Also, like any other consumable, its easier to hide profit in items with lots of features.
