BMW M3 E92 DCT Supercharged in Australia by SouthernBM

SouthernBM have just finished a Supercharger install on a BMW M3 E92 DCT. It is on one of the 3 Monte Carlo Edition cars and this one was shipped to us in an enclosed transporter for us to complete this project. We are using ESS, Brembo, Vorsteiner, & Akrapovic as our core suppliers for this project.

Andrew,

How many NM to torque pre and post install? It will be interesting to see how the rest of the drive line handles the increase, which is pretty substantial. What is the cost of the kit installed? I presume there is some form of custom mapping done too?

*Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust system
*Petrol was Premium which is 98 RON for Australia.

I remember seeing this car when i came in for a service. The car had just arrived (only a few days) and was still stock back then.

I remember i was discussing the plans for that car with one of your techs Andrew

Thanks, Yes well i took it out to Sandown Raceway today to get some filming and images taken of the car. We also had about 15 BMW clients cars there as well for track day fun. It was a fantastic day and lots of fun to be had....

Nice one Andrew! Do you think the Conti3s are better than the PS2s? Also - what are your thoughts on the Akrapovic?

I love the Akrapovic Titanium evolution exhaust. It is a beautifully made piece of art and the sound is just incredible.

The owner wants wheels now so i am going to look at tyres, the tyres in the video are just the stock units.

Brian, we offer a service where i can have the car picked up in any state and transfered down to me on a secure carrier. The one in the video is from interstate and the system works very well. This seems to appeal to the QLD market as we have much interest from up there. Bring on 2011.
