touch up paint vs bring to BMW center 325xi
has anyone used the BMW touch up paint on their car? My car has about a half an inch scratch on the back bumper. the paint is scraped off to the side. I was thinking of buying this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-O...QQcmdZViewItem any suggestions? Would it be better if i touch it up myself or bring it to BMW center and see what they can do. Is there anything for scratches instead of replacing the bumper that they can do? THANKS |

honestly... paint will scratch and get chipped all the time. i have a few fresh scratch marks... probably from somebody who accidentally nicked it at the apt parking lot... if u really want to fix it... i'd just go with that... but you'd need a small paint removing kit to remove the excess.

what I usually do with touch up paint is weird but it works. apply more than you need and let it dry, after it dries scratch off the excess with your finger nail. ( make sure car is very clean)that way the scratch gets filled only, do it again with the clearcoat then wax the whole thing, it comes out perfect for me

www.paintscratch.com like was previously stated, and buy the $200 kit. It comes with just about everything you need and it's a near perfect if not perfect match. Can't go wrong with it.
