******** BOV PROBLEM

installed the ****** bov yesterday and it runs and sounds great. the only problem im seeing is that my tune(Jb+) is now covered in an oily residue that looks like oil, and the bottom of the black pipe drips small droplets of oil. the only thing I can think of is that its now running richer than before. but where would this oil be coming from?

am i screwed?

please reply asap becuase i dont want to be running the car if their is a problem

You're prolly venting out blow by that is travelling in your charge pipe. I notice a little blow by on my Synapse BOV but nothing to where it puddles or collects. Unless you feel your car's driveability being affected I wouldn't worry about it unless you didn't connect or cap something properly.

Greatest is talking about the O-ring that helps seal the charge pipes connection to the throttle body. Its in the inner part of the stock charge pipe, just swap it into your ****** pipe if you forgot to do so.

yeah, that o ring is the key.... don't know why they just didn't send you another one...

I bought mine and sold it already. I missed my hyperboost Diverter valves...They sound awesome and give me excellent throttle response.
