I've never installed a BOV, so I'm not sure about the Y to the vacuum tubes, but as far as I can tell, you're install is fine...it just looks like you need an OIL CATCH CAN...

Yea the charge pipe can get oil in it which will then leak out of the BOV, it is normal though. An aftermarket catch can will fix this.

It's the oring from the stock did you remove it and put it in the z shift bov? I have my setup and that is a lot of oil to be leaking out of it after just installing.

this doesnt have to do with the oil leak but i suggest zip tying the hoses on the Y as well as on the BOV.

Just curious what you're other vacuum line is going to? Boost gauge?

Idk that particular BOV, but most usually only need one vacuum line. I could be wrong though.

This is correct, you only plug in the front facing nipple. The oil leak is probably because one of your couplers from the z Shift to the lower charge pipe are incorrect and there is blowby hitting the ground.

So tubing goes from the front nipple to the Y, and run the tubing on the other part of the Y to the vaccum line?

Is all of that oil leaking from the throttle body/pipe connection? If so did you reinstall the OEM O ring from the stock pipe into your new pipe. Also some oil blow by is normal on these engines, try an aftermarket oil catch can. I recently installed a bov kit on my car, I went with the Synapse kit and I get some blow by as well, comming out of the bov itself, but definately not as much as you are. Hope this helps.

The front nipple goes directly back to the nipple by the throttle body. The only reason for a Y is if you have a boost gauge or some other mod that requires a boost signal. I'm drunk so I may be forgetting something, FYI lol.

Ok you are suppose to keep 1 diverter valve in the back connected and run the second line out the back to the back of it. I don't know why but thats what it calls for.

some folks leave it out and thats ok but I run high boost and I want all the support I can get. the line from the back of the BOV goes to the nipple of the rear diverter valve. leave the rear dv plugged up to the intake and cap the bottom of the DV ( the part that went in the stock charge pipe).

Good luck, mine is working fine... holding 18 psi but is too loud for me as Daily Driver.

I am selling mine with like 50 miles on it and going back to diverter valves.

pm me if you are interested and I will even help with install. OH I bought a blue horn for mine so it looks different than everyone elses....

I am pretty sure a little oil is normal since crank pressure is vented into the intake. As for the vacuum line, there should be one vacuum line total and it should go to the top of the BOV, the bottom nipple is left open, no tube connects to it.

My CP was always completely covered in oil prior to installing a catch can, it got to the point that my Stett CP would blow right off the intercooler side under boost.

Get a catch can pronto; Your car will love you for it.

someone forgot to put the o ring in place.... this happens alot when folks buy a charge pipe that comes with no instructions....

Take the rubber o ring out of the stock pipe, put it in the mouth of the new pipe...
