Procede v4 and DCT. Which maps to use?

Hi,

If I were to install a procede in a 2009 335i DCT n54 car, which maps should I use? The 6AT or 6 MT ones?

Thanks!

Start off with a 6AT map. And set Boost Response user adjustable to 50% (Default 100%). That's it...

No problem. I just added DTC maps to the map folders that we'll be posting up after the beta period. And that is the only changes made to the map.

Hey Shiv,

Does the Procede have any control over the DCT transmission?

I have a 135i with DCT and I was just wondering if you could 'tune' the transmission as well e.g. more aggressive shifts or permanent 'Sport-mode' so I don't have to press that button every time I start the car. Also, is there any way to disable the locking mechanism so that I could shift directly from the center position (from N or P) to the M/S slot to the left without first engaging D?

Thanks,
B

You can bet that there will be 7DCT specific features coming out soon. Currently, the only Procede "feature" is faster shift times by virtue of enhanced boost control. Regular mode will feel more like Sport mode in terms of shift time. And Sport mode will shift *very* fast. It wouldn't be too hard to have different maps default to sport and non-sport settings. But that comes later...

Cheers

Woohoo! Thanks for the quick response! You just totally made my day!

Would the Procede be able to disable the shift-locking mechanism?
