Just wondering if the nut on top of the BOV is supposed to sit in the middle or is it supposed to be closer to the BOV.

Iam not sure what exactly it does iam a noob when it comes to BOV's.

its to tighten and loosen the spring on the inside of the valve. the nut on to is to lock it in place. youll notice on the top inside of the bolt there is a hex pattern. you use that to tighten and loosen the bolt and the nut to lock it so it doesnt change.
