Just a tune and intake should take car of him. But i i think for under $900 you could have 400 whp lets see...........
Jb3- $350 DCI-$100 Meth-$250 installation-$200 So for $850 you could have 40whp more than he has and your lighter...CHow

i was behind one the other day which was driven by someone who looked to be around 19 years old, i have a procede v4 on map 2 and a bms intake installed. i have an exhaust and dp's in the garage but didnt put them on yet. we took off, he was in front of me the whole time before we even began going at it, he floored the gas and vapor came from his exhaust pipe and blew straight at my windshield. he wasnt really getting away from me, but i was behind him the whole time...then i rolled up my tinted windows and put my head down in shame...yea, you need what i have in the car/garage plus a FMIC. keep in mind the price difference between the 2.

I believe that with a good tune, dp's, dci, fmic, you should walk away from him quite easily. Dp's are a big determining factor here. You wont have a chance if you retain all 4 cats. Your post turbo flow rates are simply to restricted. meaning you cant support higher boost that you NEED to beat him...If you go from a dead stop I believe could help you quite a bit bc that thing is a boat. I have a buddy running very similar numbers in his 05 cts-v and I beat him from a dead stop and he got me top end...(current mods were: afe dci, aa exhaust, aa bov, jb3(map 5), and 9.5inch sticky ps2's in the rear, non-rft.) most people discount how much non-rft's really help. In my experience they make a HUGE difference because of how much tq the n54's have. Before I had the bridgestone rft's and THEY BLOW, all I did was spin in first and midway through second. If you cant put all that power to the ground it aint worth a shit. In the next two week's my car will be fully bolted plus some extra cooling goodies. (full list of mods will be, HPF fmic, aa bov, afe dci, ar catless downpipes, ar 2nd oil cooler, ar oil catch can, aa catless exhaust, Procede v4, and to put all that power to the ground vmr vb3's 8.5's in the front and 9.5's in the rear, wrapped in pilot sport ps2's) That setup would shit on the (stock)IS-F, I can garuntee you that. If I find one I will certainly post some videos. But in the mean time you can check out youtube and see some 335's and 1'ers take on the is-f. some successful and some not so successful. Good luck bro, hope this helps.

I thought the ISF and M3 were about equal and see many vids of tuned 335s pulling on them (m3s) or pretty much even depending on who got the jump. I raced one (m3) map 5, DCi with a little mix and could hang for a minute but no doubt he was faster.
Full mods with some good gas and who knows their pretty strong.

ISFs shift ridiculously quick, near DCT territory. You will need full bolt-ons @ 16psi to run close to even with one, and top end they will still pull on you. If you run FBO+meth at an insane boost level, then yes you will destroy an ISF

FWIW I took down an ISF on a 50-120 mph roll (without meth)...it was almost too easy. Maybe he wasnt on the right gear (remember that they have 8).
Mods: FMIC, fully catless, CAI and giac S2
