If you would accept say £500 (+ say £10 for postage by RMSD?) for the iPhone 4 32GB then I'd be interested.

EDIT: I'm not fussed if it is not unlocked as I'd be happy with it being on O2.

Well with handsets readily available from Apple for only £49 more, it makes sense to buy direct from them.

However a saving near double that makes it worthwhile

My offer however stands. I intend to buy one before the end of the year (and preferably this side of XMAS). If you should change your mind, let me know; else I'll be forking out for a spanking new one direct from Apple.

I have looked o ebay at what the 32gig iphone 4`s are doing and will reduce the price to £525 posted if the buyer covers paypal fees or wires the money via bank transfer.

the phone will be sent RMSD and tracking number issued.

But with insertion fee £8, 10% fee of final price, maybe pay pal fees, £350 on bay ends up close to £300 here, as well as the risk of e bay time wasters.

i guess you dont use ebay much.

40p insertion fee
£9.02 final value fees
£12 paypal fees

this left me £328 at the end of the sale.
never use auction only buy it now as fees are substantially cheaper.

no dont use it much, interested how you get a final value fee of £9.02 as according to ebay it is 9.9% of the initial £49.99 (£4.95) + 5.9%of the remaining balance of the final selling price. so by my calculations that is
£4.95 + £17.70 = £22.65. What am i missing mate?

if you list with a buy it now the fees are a lot smaller as appose to auction.
its whats called a fixed price listing,so as ebay just stick it on the site and have no work to do monitoring bids etc the fees are cheaper, hence why i never use auction format.
the listing fee is 40p plus any additional pictures you add.

Yes mate I understand that but the final value fees are taken from bay's site for buy it now listings as 9.9% for first 49.99 then 5.9% for the remainder hence my figure of 22.65 plus listing and pay pal fees but yes still get a bit more than the £300 listed on here.

I also thought it was 10% or there abouts plus paypal fees.

TBH i havent used ebay in the last year for the same reason

I would be interested to know if you are right as a mate sells some stands on there and also said he is paying 10 % on a buy it now auction
