Hey guys

I did a search to see if a thread like this existed. Its about that time to put on our winter tires. For those of us who brave the cold winter months and actually drive our car instead of keeping them locked up in a garage, lets see what your car looks like in

-winter mode
-in the snow
-battling snow storms
etc.etc.

I just had my winter wheels (oem 17s) powdercoated gloss black this past summer in anticipation of the season. I bought a set of Hankook iPike w409 tires from www.Discounttire.com for $114 each (225/45/17)!!!!!

i agree. the all seasons are definitely nice.

i had the all season run flats that come with the car - the ride was GOD AWFUL. i also got stuck up a ridiculous hill.

i recently moved to edgewater, nj, so I have to battle river road and Gorge Road's hills this winter, so I wanted to get some dedicated winter wheels. i also am LOVING the non RFT. the ride is so much better. its amazing how stiff the run flats were.

the price on those hankook ipikes is really good, I might look into getting a set of those for my stock 17s
