Is the O2 sensor heater circuit fuse protected?
In a previous post I stated having trouble with the ecu throwing a DME code for all 4 heater circuits. Since the heater circuit is the only car supplied power circuit to the sensor, is it possible that the heater circuit is fused and no power is getting to this circuit? If so, anyone have a clue where to look?
I'm thinking that my shorted o2 sensor wire could have somehow shorted the entire heater sensor circuit. Didn't think this was possible, but it's starting to seem like the only alternative. |

Do you know where to find replacement fuses? I'm having a similar problem where I get heater circuit error codes for bank 1&2 sensor 1. I'm replacing one of the o2 sensors but I think I probably need to replace the fuse after too.

For my e92 it was in the mini fuse box under the hood. It's in the dme case. You will see a small black fuse box. There are YouTube videos on how to remove and open the box

Thanks guys, but do you know where to buy replacement fuses? Can you get fuses at any auto part store or does bmw being silly again with proprietary ones? I have no idea what the part # would be

O2 heater code on all four O2 sensors
For those of you getting O2 heater codes from all four sensors check the wiring to your crankcase vent heater . . that was the problem with mine. Its located under the intake with two wires going to it . . I just touched the wires with a screwdriver and they fell apart. Cost is about $90 and you need to remove the intake to get to it.

Uh so my Fuse box looks nothing like the one pictured (E92 07 335i). I'm getting a o2 sensor heater issue on all 4 sensors. I suspect it's a fuse. Anyone know what number it is?
