Loud BONG!

Have not had the car long but everytime just after I start the car I get a loud bong, it is a different and louder bong than I get for other alerts such as low fuel or ice warning and there is no other lights that come on with it.

I have been putting down to the nokia bluetooth phone kit that can in the car as it seems that the sound comes out of the speekers, but now I'm not so sure.

Any thoughts?

Thanks JonnySi, good to get clarification that it is nothing to worry about, although slightly annoying!

They are easily removed, just take the radio out, and remove the kit wiring from the BMW radio loom.

On the topic of bongs, with this recent weather it does genuinely scare me everytime I hear a bong when I go to start the engine. Luckily it is only a weather warning but still quite scary hah.
