2010 vs. 2011 Wheel Fitment

I need to buy a winter wheel/tire combo since we will be taking delivery in January and the X3 will be arriving with performance summer tires.

As soon as you choose 2011 BMW X3, Tirerack, 1010tires, etc. refuse to suggest wheels for you.

Would it be safe to assume that any wheels that fit the 2010 X3 will also fit the 2011 X3? That is, would it be safe to choose 2010 X3 when buying wheels for the 2011 X3?

If not, what are the differences I would need to consider? Bolt pattern, diameter and width are known from the BMW literature. What offset would be appropriate, and are there any other specs I would need to consider?

Thanks.
