Helix N55 FMIC Review

I installed my FMIC from Helix. First Sorry i have no pictures since my bb died yesterday.

First: Fitmet, The FMIC fitment is great and no cutting whatsoever needs to be done. A+ in fitmen.

Second: Construction: The Construction of the intercooler is very good, no flaws no irregularities, great quality and great materials.

Third: Looks car looks great from the front!!!

Forth: Performance, there is a sligth gain in horsepower, (buttdyno) there is a lot of more consistency in the driving performance of the vehicle.

Temperature: up to this moment, the car has never reached the 250 in temp, always 240-245. I live in Puerto Rico, so temps are always very high here. (90's)

overall im verry happy with my purchase and I will recomend the FMIC to any N55 owner.

Did you notice much of a power increase? How does it pull on the interstate?

I think to fully take advantage of the power of a larger intercooler, he would need a full tune. On a full tune, one can often expect up to 30 WHP gain, on a stock tune or something like the N55 JB Stage 1, I wouldn't expect too much in power gain but instead more efficiency/cooling gains allowing him to drive hard without losing power as quick.
