Question Jb3 vs EVO X...?

So my boy sent me a pic text of his friends EVO X last week. I replied back to him "looks nice but that shit will get SMOKED".

Of course I was just messing with him all in fun. He showed his friend the text and his friend said "$500 whenever u ready"
His EVO supposedly only has full exhaust and bigger FMIC.

My question is, should I find a nice empty safe closed road somewhere and run him? I'm running JB3 Map 5, throttle response set to %70, with 666 Fabricated intake... Should be an easy win for me, no...?

You've got ~500 lbs more weight but about 80hp/80tq over him as well. Stock evos in the US suck (compared to UK,JPN), which is why they rarely stay that way. I say you have the edge over a stock evo, but as soon as he starts adding power over stock, it'll get close very quickly.

I'll PP u $5 if you post a (good) vid and lose.

Yeah I heard EVO X's are trash compared to the older ones ability to Mod. And I could launch (I'm AWD too), and it would most likely be from a roll anyway.

I think it's cold enough out to maybe run Map 7 just for the run to pretty much put it in the bag for me?

from a roll shows how much more powerful your car will be than the evo...from a dig is just who can launch better...

Make sure he isnt hiding a tune or something on you. I wouldnt underestimate him. Plus he is a lot lighter. If you can find the octane and its cold enough out, you might be able to run map 7 just for the run but dont get too used to it. Either way GL, and just do it for fun once you cross the border

That's what I'm sayin Shane. See that EVO has a tune and STILL lost by maybe 3 cars. The guy I'm talkin about has no tune.
