Auto body repair shops in PDX

had a minor collision with my car on Sunday (my basically brand new car with less than 500 miles on the odo). The car was parked on the street on Sunday morning when my spatially inept neighbor backed his van into the car, making a pretty decent mess of the front driver side fender and door.

I was going to take it to Kuni collision center for an estimate since that's the dealer I bought the car from, but if Rasmussen has a better place they use I can entertain that too as his insurance is paying for the damage, and I want the car fixed best as possible. Anybody dealt with Kuni or Rasmussen's preferred shop they care to comment on?

If you want a second estimate Active Autobody is who Rasmussen uses and they are outstanding.

Estimate came back at $2302.59. Whole new driver's side door and front fender is what the adjuster from Farmers wrote it for, and whatever else needs done to get it back to right.

Pretty obnoxious when something like this happens to any car, but jesus christ, that's enough to take a few months off your life when it happens to a brand new $40,000 car.

well i had $3,200 of underbody damage, front bumper cracked, and radiator upper mount snapped from some douche bag in a pick up who decided not to tie down his shit and unload it on the freemont bridge with me behind him and no way to avoid the debris. Nothing structural besides the radiator mount, the rest was just all the plastic parts on our car.
