Need To Buy E92 Within The Next 5 Days

hi everyone,

been without a car the past 2 months. Been looking for an e92 and sellers backing out/lying about the car having a clean title, so on and so on has prevented me from getting the car i want.

Looking for a 2007 e92.
looking for white or red exterior, if the price is low enough, would be willing to look at other colors

mileage under 60k
clean title, no accidents, issues

would like sports package, but not picky at this point.

budget is $18k-20k

i need to find and purchase this car in the next 5 days as i'm running out of time with a loaner car. loan has already been approved, can do a certified or wire transfer when the deal is done.

i've searched everywhere, but i'm hoping some forum members can loan me their eyes and ears to make me the happiest person this christmas!!

car can be from washington down to cali (don't mind towing). Thanks everyone for any help you can assist me with!

Why don't you try typing with capital letters when appropriate? You'll get more respect that way.

Your pricing isn't realistic. Why don't you lease a brand new one?

Oops sorry, didn't know about the whole caps thing, still new to this forum.

I want to stay away from leasing if possible. I found the red one I mentioned above. I hope to fly down to Cali and pick it up this weekend.

if you are looking for 328i, you might get lucky but i don't think 335i would be in that range for the color combo and miles you are looking for, especially without any accidents and that maybe why you are getting a run around... hope you the best luck...

Good luck, OP.

I just had to check out your post only because I couldn't imagine why someone "needs" to buy an e92 at all, let alone within 5 days!!! Wondered if there was some competition or something like one of the challenges on The Amazing Race.

Well, as I said, good luck. Hopefully all the Hertz, etc. in your area don't go out of business before you find a car to buy.

I didn't check where the OP is, but one could buy a high miles '07 for $22K in the DC area, particularly if he buys a 328 e92 from a private seller. Are prices that much different out West?

The BMW store in your area has one you can get for 22K; it's listed at 23.8K. You should be able to get it for $20 or 21 actually. I mean let's face it, any dealer anywhere will take $2000 off the price of a car.

How hard or regularly did/do you look? Is this even a "for real" post you made?

towing a car from cali sounds risky if not dumb no offense (did you mean ship it)

but yeah, have to agree that $18-20k is a bit low for a 335 coupe. 328 coupe maybe

anyways, good luck

I was thinking of selling mine. '07 335 coupe with 54,500mi but is spacegrey. I would let it go for 26k. Only Mods are H&R Sports, jb+, and bms intake. No accidents.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the replies. Sorry I didn't specify but I was looking for a 328i definitely not a 335.

Sorry I meant shipping the car not towing :P

My cars motor blew 4 months ago. I've been actively searching and people have been claiming clean titles etc, then finding out their car was salvaged or totaled and rebuilt.

I wanted an e92 and only an e92 because I love the car, everything about it. Most other cars I would be semi interested in would run me only a few thou less and i wouldn't be as satisfied.

I found a red 328i I'm looking to fly down to Cali for on Tuesday and have it up to Seattle in three days. Passed ppi, hope to be an actual e92 owner and member. Keep you all posted!!

Dont forget that you will be paying 8% tax on an out of state vehicle when you license it!

9% please explain? I just bought my 335i in portland, and when I went to license it the use fee is based on 8% of the purchase price, and if you get a good deal on the vehicle, and pay below blue book, like I did, they still ding you with fair market value, for my car FMV was 25K, more than I paid for the car, though I had to pay tax on the 25K.
