Door Lock / Central Locking Issue
My passenger side front door won't lock/unlock with the key fob or the dash button. Will only unlock if I use the inside handle and lock if I press down on the knob.
I'm thinking it isn't the fuse, as all the other central locks work, unless there is a fuse for each door. Maybe the actuator is stuffed for that door? Has anyone had similar issues and know what BMW did to fix it? I'm pretty handy so if it's just a matter of replacing a part then I'll do it myself.

sounds like software issues if its only not working with the keyfob inserted.
Does it normally lock/unlock remotely from the outside? If so I would imagine its a simple re-set... like the one you have to do when your sunroof plays up and goes into anti-trap mode or something.

Although not an E90, I had a similar problem with the driver's door on an E36 a few years ago (it would only lock/unlock manually using the key or handle/knob). It turned out to be a faulty actuator which was replaced.

damn are you serious it might be a software issue. I had the same problem but ended up going to bmw service centre and had it fixed up. It cost me $600. They said that the motor for the lock was broken.

I'll check the fuses and if they look okay order an actuator and try that.
