Get some 214 replica wheels, much cheaper. Email Ray, he took care of my wife and I. One pair of 214 reps with snow and a set of X6M reps with snows.

Could you please take some detailed pics of your LUX installation, like where you placed the fuse/wiring outside the housing. Did you modify the plastic cover caps or twist the cap on with the wiring hanging out? Was it a pain to install?
Thanks!

Which wheels do you prefer??? 214 rep looks same as OEM?

No problem!
Could you just pop the hood and take a pic of the cap covers and how the wires stick out with the inline fuse placed outside the housing?
Thanks!

Thanks again!

Unless I'm reading this wrong (probably), the LUX install instructions states the following:
"Placement of the power supply and fuse:
The power supply and fuse MUST be installed outside of the headlight housing. The 4 wires ( blue, white, black, and red) are thin enough to pass around the headlight cover. The power supply and fuse can be placed on the side of the cover, or the wires can come out of the back of the headlight cover, whichever is easier."

This is why I wanted pics of where one places the power supply and fuse. I read it as the fuse/power supply should be located outside the cap cover

WooHoo go 35i Standard...!

Painted reflector is a MUST. Makes it look so clean on Sapphire Black.

Alextclam, I got the same titanium grill as this. Got it from Keshav (keshav23@yahoo.com), he was responsive and prices were good.

Cool, thanks. Was it a pain to remove the factory reflectors? I read somewhere on the forum that it was just double-sided taped.

Can you post where/how much you ordered the LUX H8 LEDs and also where/how much you had them installed in MA?

I actually have both a rep set of the 214s on my wife's truck and the X6Ms on mine and I like both. The 214s are just classy X5 wheels but I really like how the X6M reps look. Da Rip on Xoutpost has a set too and his Vermillion red truck looks pretty sweet. The inner barrel and the center of the spokes is black which helps hide the massive break dust you will get.

You can't go wrong either way but the X6Ms will be a bit more unique.

Newbie question here, but do the painted reflectors still function as reflectors, or are they basically acting as painted body parts to occupy the space where the reflector had been?

I looked at the ebay link and was wondering, aren't these reps a half inch narrower than the OEM 214's? Does this then make it not look the same as the OEM wheels? Can anyone who has these comment?

Thanks.

Painted body parts, they no longer function as reflectors. It is a cosmetic modification only. Form over function
