Yes they lower the xi
They will void the OEM suspension warranty as they're not meant to be used on the xi...this is true for any suspension mod except the BMW Performance Suspension or OEM Sport Suspension available for RWD cars only |

Other members have used the sport springs, not sure how well they work.

Give me a break. They will never know. Service Techs barely remember do tighten all the bolts properly let alone check the OEM part # of sport springs to determine if they meant to be used on the xi.

If it comes down to whether BMW will pay for a costly repair, you better believe they're going to do everything to prove that it wasn't their fault/responsibility
