M3 Pure Edition
Looks like BMW Aus are trying to create something out of nothing and by giving less i.e. no leather etc.
http://enthusiast.bmw.com.au/article...57291bca45ec0c I think they should be giving more for less. |

So basically 220m wheels in black, different coloured leather interior, black bonnet vents, black chrome grills and side gills... sounds like the M3 Edition they offered mid last year in the UK! Although I think the cloth inserts are a different offering and they omitted the side mirror covers in black as well as a few other details.

Pure Edition
Hi Guys, (and Girls!!!) will take delivery of a Pure Edition early next week, will post up some pics; the great aspect of this edition is you could pretty much add or subtract / delete a number of options which also brought the price down in my case.
Cheers PS a pic of my last car |

What sort of price did it bring it down to if you dont mind me asking? Even though the 'pure edition' is marketed as having less options, they are only making a limited number and hence it will still be more expensive then a fully equiped M3 |

I take delivery of mine tomorrow! I basically took it as it was without dropping anything more then the standard deleted specification which was the 6 stack, adaptive headlights, comfort access and a few other things i didn't particularly care about. I then got it optioned with the mirror package, internet, media interface, M-DCT, M-Drive and VDC. I love the fact it already comes with all the black trimmings i would have had to pay for if i bought a regular one.
Ended up somewhere around the 160k on road mark with corporate discounts and things. Now to start the tuning.. Last edited by xilli; 02-08-2011 at 10:31 PM.. |
