Best tyres for e90 335d

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good all round tyre for my e90 335d? Don't like the RFT's and all the negatives I have read on this site are surely true.

On my old car (Merc SLK350) I had a set of Eagle F1 assemetrics which were pretty good. Be good to hear you're thoughts on which one's I should go for for my 335d - great car btw, and will post some pics soon!

Cheers

Dee

Hi Dee

Most popular non-rft seem to be the Falken (452's I think) or Vredestein Sessantas. Either way, you'll probably save £400 on a set of Bridgestone RFT 's and will enjoy the ride a lot more!

Also Continental Sport Contact 3 or the latest 5 is a very good tyre for the rear wheel drive BMWs... have got some rave reviews.

I would suggest caution with the Conti SP3s.

I currently have these on mine and whilst the drive is soooo much nicer, there are some really weird harmonics at play under certain conditions and at certain speeds that have had me and my local tyre shop scratching our heads for months.
