Suggested mods for new 328i X-Drive
So I just ordered my new 2011 328i X-Drive Sedan. I got basically everything except for the Sports packages. What aftermarket mods should I look at over the next year as possibly doing? I was thinking Lowering among others....

I am US military based overseas and therefore I get a large discount and don't have to pay any taxes on the car. This price is only available to US Military that are based overseas for 140 days or more. You would have to be a moron not to take advantage of it if you can. the packages are all the same price as in the states but accessories at the dealerships in Germany are sometimes a quarter of the price!

sounds like a nice car, I always go springs and wheel setup before any other mods!

Thats a nice price for what you got. Is there any way to ge the Xenon lights after you purchased a BMW? I bought a 328i 2011 and I want to upgrade to Xenon lights.

4Corners:
When I ordered it I had a budget...the only thing in the sports package that I wanted was the seats and I couldn't justify the cost for what I wanted out of it. Doyle: This is MY car! I currently live in Germany with it and regularly get it up to 130mph. It is my daily driver, down the road a few years I might let the wife drive it! Unfortunately I will be leaving Germany in Feb to go back to the states though.

Definitely wheels a drop (springs/shocks or coils depending on preference and budget). Front lip, new kidneys and painted reflectors are a nice touch. You could go crazy with others - but that's a good start.

Don't lower with just springs. If you're going to lower it, do it right and get yourself a nice coilover setup like KW V1's or V3's for XI. If you want to save some money, then get springs AND shocks. Getting just springs will put too much wear on your stock shocks.
A nice exhaust like BMW Performance is a very nice fun OEM addition. |
