e90 Tail Lights
First of all..I have used search, but I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times anyways.
I was wondering if there are any other tail lights available for my 328i 2008 (sedan) other than the BlackLines tail lights. if there is none, is do any of you know where I can get the Blacked out Black Lines? Like this one...but this one is LED and I do not want LED tailights because I think they look...cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-E90-06-08-SM...item1c183b5264 Thanks in advance |

Blackline are the only one that will make your car look good IMO..Or you can buy vinyl and cover up the white part, there are a couple DIY around.
OEM Blackline have a black housing, that's why they look tinted, but they're really not. They're clear lens, with black housing, someone correct me if I'm wrong. DEPO Blackline come a little bit darker than the OEM Blacklines, I believe JleviSW sells them. |

Yeah they are definitely darker in person lol. I bought the depos then decided to sell them after a month because they looked too dark on my AW, and I figured I wasn't going for the blackout look in the future anyways. You seem like you'd like them though, so enjoy those tails. I'll be replacing with oem blacklines soon.

Here's the breakdown from what I know.
Blacklines FAQ: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34119 OEM uses a standard filament bulb: Blacklines: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...ID=63210406678 Blacklines that are not smoked, I refer to them as whitelines: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/ES25...=e90hellatails Aftermarket: Depo: Standard filament bulb Blacklines: http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html Depo blacklines using LED bulbs for the brake and turn signal: http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html DIY: We've pretty much dubbed them as redlines: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=346620 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=449645 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=184340 I think that covers most of it.

Hella Clear/White taillights
I like the Hella Clear versions, because blacklines' smoked color don't really match each other. The smaller light on the trunk lid looks darker because it's optically not as deep. I'm not sure why ECS has the default pictures appear to be tinted, though:
Compare http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271160 and ECS' new product page: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/ES25...=e90hellatails |

you'll regret getting the DEPO darker tinted tail lights. In ok lighting, it looks way too dark, especially on a lighter colored car, but i think they're ok on black though.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but has anyone tried the LED's ones? How's the fotment, lightning quality, etc? I think they look nice and updated like the newer e90's...
