I had a whole new idrive install june/july of 2010. I would presume therefore that it is a 2009+. I'd be glad to let you experiment if you need it, let me know

I don't have much time to drive too far and my car has been misfiring (due for the HPFP and injector recall) so if you guys are willing to drive to my place in midtown Atlanta sometime this week, that would be great. I don't want to give you false hope because I am not 100% certain that the coding will work. If any of you live in midtown, in the event that the coding doesn't work, it wouldn't have wasted too much of your time. I'd hate for you to drive all the way here and go back empty handed.

How much time do you need? I will be heading north from the airport tomorrow around 1330. I was going to head straight to United in Roswell as I have a nagging "check engine soon" light that needs to be fixed.

I won't be free until the evening (8pm). I may go test it on Albert's car sometime this week since he lives nearby.

Hey Todd... yours is a pre-2009, the previous style iDrive unfortunately. They probably just replaced it with the same model. You can retrofit the 2009+ iDrive though, but it costs a lot in parts.

Nivedh... I'll drive over this weekend if the weather is good. Otherwise I'll come pick you up in the Civic and take you back home.
