Tire recommendations for 328xi

I currently have the stock Bridgestone Turenza tires on my 328 and they are horrible on snow and ice. The whole car gets squirrelly on even a dusting of snow. I'm looking at switching to a non-runflat tire. What all seasons do you guys run? I've had Goodyear Triple Treads before and I'm leaning to those at the moment.

I need something highly rated on snow and ice and I'd prefer something with a higher tread life due to the amount of daily driving that I do.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ on my 2011 335xi and they are good year round, and improve the ride over RFT. Conti DWS is also a good alternative and a bit less money.

I have the same tires and they are so much better than the RFT and quieter.

Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus (not run flats). Got them about 4 weeks ago. So far, they have been great in snow.

I ended up getting good year triple treads, had them on a different car and loved them so stuck with what I know.

Right away I noticed the ride was much smoother. Then we had a snow storm and plowed through inches of highway snow without a problem.

This car is a winter beast now! No more dancing down he highway; it just digs in and goes!

Are those the original, pre 2008 EL42s? I have the newer ones on my CPO '07 RWD E91 and for all-seasons, they are handling the snow quite well.

My big problem with them is price!

Check out the reviews (non-user) at Tire rack...

Go here, click the tire tab halfway down, and start looking.

http://www.tirerack.com/videos/index.jsp

their survey results might also be useful

Beyond that, hit up the website consumer search and consumer reports
