It's a true tune. The power gains are greater and more sustained with the AA tune. I've owned a powerbox and the AA tune is head and shoulders better. Over time, your ECU can and will learn and adapt to the powerbox, regulating fuel levels and bringing performance back to stock levels. You'll hear people saying how it feels like their powerbox 'stops working' over time- that is because it does. It is a piggyback hack, and it can be easily found by the dealer if they have a reason to poke around the ECU. A tune effectively programs your ECU with new performance values. It is not detectable, and most importantly, it will work just as well on day 1,000 as it does on day one. hey Omar, say I purchased a tune, then went on to add some extensive bolt ons. Is the tune going to adjust automatically, or how do you address the issue?

Also, any local vendors in Kansas City?

Let me add that I am about to get the AA tune installed on my ECU, and the guys at AA (specifically Viral in my case) are 110% helpful and a joy to work with. Viral has been very receptive to all my questions and worked with me when the local installer had issues with my car. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED not only for the tune itself, but the people behind it.

Both A+ guys that talked to me on the phone with courtesy and thorough explanations. The love for their customers and the love for what they do is apparent. They deserve the lion's share of the tuning business, and I hope that more and more installer shops get outfitted with their flashing stations. Your website says $399. Which is the typo? Or is $499 with installation?

And on your website, is the picture the actual product? Is it a flash or does it plug in, in between somewhere?

Also anywhere near Philly or North Jersey to install? Or can I do it myself? Still confused if this is a flash tune or not.

I believe you have to send your ECU in. Was tempted by this tune but I'm not going to hold on to my car that much longer so there is no point.

Not if you can find a local dealer with a flashing station RPM North does it, and they are in Plainview NY.

Absolutely, I love it. Remember, it's not going to make your N/A a 335 turbo now, but it definitely wakes up the car and the gains can be seen on a dyno, which I need to get one of these days myself See my above posts

RE the price, I believe it's a typo. It should be 399 IIRC. I think they need to fix that on the site

Driller, they flash the ECU, it is purely firmware based, no hardware will be added. How far are you from LI? RPMNorth in Plainview NY does the tune. It is a flash tune.
