Lowering F10

How hard is it to lower a F10? Anyone done this themself and how long did it take? Any DIY write ups? Im thinking to go wth H&R sport springs all around. Would this void any manufacturer warranties? Thanks for any info.

not sure about the install, but lowering your car shouldnt void your warranty unless you take your car in for a suspension related issue then they probably will void your warranty. I've lowered 3 previous BMW's and never had issues with BMW voiding my warranty.

lowering the car is not hard, but I personally would not do it with the lousy NYC roads! I enjoy the smooth ride.......but what do I know.

IMO the f10 suspension stock is a bit high. I like how the h&r springs look matched up with 20s. Just debating when or if I should even drop it due to my recent issues with the car pulling to the right. The car is driving much better now. However, I didn't want to possibly void any warranties if I ever had to take it back for this same or similiar problem.

i would probably wait a bit then to see if the problem comes back... if not then go for the drop... h&r's are a nice drop with 20's!! im planning on going with h&r's but still need to go to the dealership to get some issues fixed
