2011 BMW 335i N55 Single Turbo iCarbon Downpipe Install!!!
We got our hands on our 1st N55 335i to install a Downpipe on today.. While it is much easier than the N54 its still no easy job.. 1st time install took about 4 hours total taking it all apart careful and looking thru everything as we removed and reinstalled.. The iCarbon Downpipe appears to be of very high quality not much i could find faults with.. below are pics..

The stock pipe looks atrocious.

What the heck did you remove?!?! Took another member about an 1hour to do his AR downpipe. We took three only because we did it on jack stands and spent an hour looking for a damn socket lol.

Just removed the motor mount for easier access and pics.. 1 hour is pretty fast.. Tell him he can have a job here if he can do these in 1 hour all day..

Thanks AWD motorsports and DTMrack for the special pricing on the downpipes. AWD did a great job with the installed, very professional and great pricing. The car sounds really good and I'll post a short video in a bit and will get it dyno later on the week.

so seriously how labor intensive is this install compared to the N54? I'm considering doing my own but I'm THAT handy under the car. I have a shop quoting me a 4 hr install and they're pretty good but I don't think they realize I'm an N55.

ok well I'm gonna hope they over quoted me thinking it was a PITA like the N54 and it won't be as much.
