Black vinyl trim in GA?
New to the forum guys, one of the first mods I want to do is cover up the chrome trim with some black vinyl. Im located in middle GA, and need somebody reliable to do this, any suggestions?!

I used vinyl but it didn't turn out 100% perfect (it's close though). I hate doing it though. I am thinking of painting my trim when the weather warms up and I have some free time. You're welcome to join me then!

funny thing. I hate mine too and I am going to strip it down and paint it. Everything removes fairly easily and I have done the grills and they turned out nice. Im north of you in Locust Grove by AMS.

Yeah it sucks, i will be painting mine when the weather warms up as well... it comes off easily? I was just going to mask it on the car.... probably a bad idea, but oh well.

I have actually heard that is the hardest part (at least on the e92). It is really fragile and replacement is $$$
I had mine vinyl wrapped by a commercial graphics place (adnormous graphics in Smyrna) that does advertising wraps, etc. My car was the first they had ever done regarding just the window trim, and it turned out accordingly. It rained the day after they did it and the adhesive lifted slightly along the edges (I failed to tell them to wrap AROUND the edges, which I had assumed they would do) and there is an overlap where they tore the vinyl in one spot. It looks great until you look closely at the details... Long story short, it was only $100 but I would like to paint it in the future if you guys are going to do it. It truly dramatically changes the entire look of the car [in a damn good way]

mine is a vert so the trim goes all the way around the base of the windows. I will do mine soon and then maybe we can have an install day and cookout and get some painting done.

Hate to bring back up a dead thread but do you guys know any reliable shops that would install some springs near the ATL area? I've done springs on my previous Mustangs but I'm scared to mess anything up on the 328, thanks!
