Every one of these threads mentions that the chrome trim/black trim swap is not possible. The chrome trim gets ruined/bent when you remove it from the car.

As far as new trim is concerned, the realoem website says:

Cost is around $1500 for parts and labor.

Blam, that's for dealer install? Yikes. That's pricey.

I think I would spend that money for more noticeable mods...such as getting a lip/spoiler installed.

That would be a good choice. We installed it for a customer last month. It may be more or less. It was my colleagues client.
