Budget wheels!!

Ok guys, so I'm looking for wheels on a budget. Easier said that done. 335i coupe, I'd like 19's or 20's, and at least 10" wide rears. I'd like to spend less than $2000 for a set, any suggestions?

on a $2000 budget, you have a pretty good selection in the used market.

That's including tires and that's absolute max. Ideally I'd like less. I was looking around and all the wheels I liked were $1000-2000/wheel. Where can I find a good selection of used?

Off the top of my head, the top 5 selling replica wheels on this site with General or Hankook tires will be below your budget.
Im talking brand new tires and wheels.

Go into the "Sponsor" section of the forums and "pm" the vendors. You will have a set at your door in no time

For around $1500 shipped you should be able to get a good set of reps with tires.

Check out varrstoen 1.1.2 wheels, Their $850 shipped for staggered LM rep 19's. general uhp or nankang nsII tires should run you about $500 and TPMS about $150.

+1

My 19" AluFelgen CSL reps 8.5/9.5 with General UHP's, ///M stickers, BMW roundels, mounted, balanced and shipped to my door were $1950 through AluFelgen. You should have no problems finding a nice new set for under $2K.

Used to be able to get a 19" staggered setup with the Ventus V12's for $1050 shipped, but some of those deals seem to be gone (prices in general seem to have gone up)...

**********s.com

Or pyspeed.com

Good luck, have fun, and post pics when you're done!

I detect some analysis paralysis. My wheel tire selection process was easy. "What's cheapest and what fits?" If I actually had MONEY to spend...

I suggest looking into Velocity Motoring (VMR) or Avant Garde (AG).

Both manufacturers offers great looking wheels and most styles are available in 18" or 19" in your price range.

We can package any of these wheels with tires for a ready to install setup as well.

AG M335 (no longer available in Diamond Black)

AG M341

Avant Garde M368

VMR VB3 CSLs

VMR V710

VMR V701

We also offer custom colors on Avant Garde and VMR Wheels.

Other suggestions just for good measure

I suggest you first sit back and seriously think through why you want new wheels. Then do some research. You might want to save up for rims that increase performance (lightweight forged). Ditto for tires, they are key to performance.

Tirerack has a good site full of data on tires and wheels.

The for sale section here is a good place to look, as others have suggested.
