Autosol use on alloys?

Used autosol on my SS exhaust yesterday for the first time and couldn't get over the transformation! - really is magic stuff!

Just wondering would it be too harsh then for alloys, as I can only imagine how good it would work if possible?

Any experiences? I was thinking especially on lacquer etc?

The autosol is too abrasive on the alloy wheel, the lacquer will start peeling!

Occasional use for brake dust/tar etc will be fine, but not all the time.

Autosol is a proper metal polish.

Alloys are a painted/clear-coat finish. The Autosol would not achieve the desired results and would likely damage the clear-coat etc.
