I'm an Iphone 3GS user, in conjunction with my snap in adapter and F10 535.

In surfing the I-drive menus, i've noticed that when pulling up recently dialed #'s (or saying the voice command redial), it only presents me with a list of called numbers from the car's memory - not my I-phone's received call list. Is there any way to tap more into the 3GS content and listings through the car?

Same goes for "Messages" under the telephone tab - nothing is ever in there and I don't know how it gets populated. I've received texts on my phone, but thats as far as the info gets.

My 535 is an early build, non-combox model.

I'm not cool enough to own an iPhone, but my car/BT/phone works the same way. It's annoying. As for messages, maybe that's more of a European thing, because some idiot American will be reading his or her text messages, crash, and sue BMW.

It only displays the first few lines on the screen and does not allow you to read the whole message while the car is moving. If the car is stationary you can page through the message. You do have the option of having it read out load to you while the car is moving.

Is that if you receive a text message while your in the car, ?

Is your car a post sept 2010 build with the combox and have you got your phone connected via the USB ??

I push my messages via bluetooth and it works the same for both email and text messages.

I have a post September build.

I can see text messages, but not e-mails. What phone and options do you have to be able to read emails?
