Unhappy Ack, I'm so Stupid....

... when I was pulling into my one car garage today, I apparently misjudged the corner of my car. I now have a white paint transfer on the bumper of my Jet Black car. Is it possible to remove the chalky-type paint? Nope, not even Zaino'd yet.

I'll post some pics tonight when I get back from dinner....

Sorry to hear that...are there any deep scratches? If not, I'm sure shimshimhada (David) can fix it.

It looks like the paint is right on top ... not into the bumper at all.

i would try to buff it out with some compound, if it just picked up the paint from the wall and no deep scratches in the bumper it should come off. i would suggest 3m compound and then a wax/sealer after using the compound on that spot. good luck!

Well, if I knew how much and where I could get an M-Tech bumper... I would seriously think of doing it!

I feel your pain. Looks like the white paint will come off with some polish. Good luck.

Doug...

Looks familiar. Here's mine from last summer. Happened on my wife's watch, she said it was a parking lot hit and run, I say it was her boo boo with a parking garage pillar, bodyshop says close to $350 for repainting

Yeah, but they seem to be having some issues lately....

good news is that almost all of it came off with the wash mitt and some Zaino car wash soap. There is a thin white line left that I was too tired to whack at by the end of the day. I think the residual scratches will buff right out.

Yep - the blacklines came yesterday, and I'll be finding time to put them on this week. I'm still thinking of the M-Tech front bumper, maybe the rear, Euros on the front (yeah, but I don't know about the prices I keep seeing!) and the rear deck spoiler. OH - and I found the next set of wheels - 193's.

Blacklines are pretty straight fwd to install, sos the Spoilers. I got my spoiler from Jason at Tischer BMW Parts Dept. he threw in those $15 batalink glue kit. Jason is recognized here at e90post forums, cant believe he still remembers my name last month I was there.

About prices for Euros, kinda out in the loop with that AJ(bavarian) did his, or maybe ask Magmd (socal crew) he knows alot of those vendors.

theres a spoiler DIY btw here online. carbon fiber spoiler looks hot on your black
