Bluetooth connectivity problems

Have an HTC Evo, and am able to pair and connect to bluetooth, but when i try to make a call or download the phonebook it loses the connection every time. This phone worked fine in my 2007 X5. Anyone else having issues with bluetooth?

nope. works every time (touch wood) and so far no dropped connections either....phone is old fashioned iphone 3G
