18-inch wheels on a 325 xi??

Would like to have larger diameter wheels on my stock 2006 325 xi. I have 16" now but would like 18" with maybe 225/50 summer sport or touring tires. Any suggestions? will 18" fit? clearance issues? mpg handling impacts?? thx

you can easily fit 18's, I'm running 19's and I think I even saw someone running 20's you shouldn't have any clearance problems

225/45/18 is too tall of a tire...you need 225/40/18 for an 18x8 wheel

Im running M5 rep's 19's staggered front 235/35/19 rear 265/30/19. so i know 18's will def fit..

i recommend 19's if u live in a area with good roads 19'S are more aggressive

Is there a problem if I run 17" rim with ET 30? I have non-sport 16" currently.

Did you use front and rear rims or do four fronts.* The reason I ask I have m3 rims but someone told me if I use them the rear rim will tare up my transfer case.(due to offset). Any info you can give would be much appricated

If you ordered a new 328xi today, optional wheel and tire size is:

8x19 225/35R19 front, 9x19 255/30R19 rear.

Look up the specs and stay within them.
