E92 caliper colour
Hi has anyone changed the colour off the calipers , I know there is a BBK from BMW in yellow, My thoughts are removing the calipers and getting them professionally stripped and powder coated Red.
While they are off the car getting the disks bells painted in Hyper silver or the same shade lepssons use on the wheels also geting the 225 alloys refurbished the same colour silver as the bells . Is this just a total waste off time or do you think it will look ok I have a Brake man and it is possible ,but is it worth it ? Last edited by scooba0010; 03-08-2011 at 02:21 PM.. |

I'm sure you can buy caliper covers on fleabay...
Got a similar dilemma myself as I've just recently put black csl's on mine and the disc/calipers look fugly..Getting a good deal on Hi-spec setup, so might opt for that one, once the discs and pads are done.

Silver! Unless you're running a mahoosive set of brembos all your doing is advertising the fact that you don't have, a mahoosive set of brembos. So what's the point?

Oh, stripped..........yeah I agree with others, would look wrong. But a bit of gloss black Hammerite or Japlac, could look good I think. Mike. |

Black or silver would be fine, it stops them corroding and makes cleaning much easier.

Tidied mine up with silver, didnt like being boiled on track though.
Paint was stinking so I would go the stripdown/enamel route myself but go black or silver. Let us know how you get on - it was something I was planning if I locate a cheap set of 335i calipers.
