Congratulations! Enjoy your ED delivery and your new F10 ... post pics when you get it!

My 1st F10 was black sapphire/black leather ... loved it ... because of Msport I couldn't get it this time around so went with the Carbon Black.

$800 - $1730 (rebate) = $930 under invoice

Would recommend Adrian Avila from BMW South Atlanta, as he is a board sponsor on bimmerfest.com.

I did it thru a local dealer in NYC, since I had trade in the deal too...

This is just my opinion..

"Below or above invoice" its such a scam. The dealers have been playing this card for years and we are falling for it. Does anyone here actually think that a full service dealership is going to be in business for long selling a $70k+ car for $800.00 over invoice and give commissions etc.

There is something called dealer hold back that is even before the "invoice" cost that you will never ever see. So while I commend everyone for their negotiation skills the fact is that there is no way anyone is staying in business with that financial model.

Agreed for luxury & non-luxury brands, but this is the most "wiggle room" & negotiating I could do with the NYC dealers, as I had a trade and the car is getting more popular.

I know Lexus and Mercedes both have a 3% hold-back.

I thought BMW didn't have a hold-back. Do you know what the hold-back percentage is for BMW?

I think BMW hold back is about 5-7% since 7% is the discount given to customers if they do ED.

7% is the import duties avoided on euro delivery cars. It has nothing to do with the hold back.

Hold back is a payment to dealer to cover the interest costs of holding the car on the lot. It is usually either flat rate e.g. 3% or a variable amount depending on how long the car is on the lot.

Hold back above 3% is rare.
