BMW Order Tracking 800 #

I found out that you don't have to speak your commands into the phone.
You can still use the old style key in.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Method 1:

1. Call the 1-800-831-1117
2. Wait for lady's voice (about 4 seconds)
3. Press 2, wait about 5 seconds for lady's voice
4. Type in production #
5. Press 1

Whole process takes less than 45 seconds.

Method 2, programming speed dial into your cell phone:

p = pause
NUM= production #

1-800-831-1117pp2pppNUMp1

(Adjust the number of pauses depending on how quickly your network can connect to the 800#)

This one takes you straight to your status in under 30 seconds!!!
And YES, I am officially insane.

People @ work were looking at me weird when I speak loudly into the phone and read some strange sequence of numbers like 5x a day... so it's a good thing I can just quietly type in my info into the phone.

Am I still pretty much screwed on trying to figure out when my car will be produced? It's in status 112 and the 800# says its scheduled for production without a production date. My dealer says anyday now but I think he's blowing smoke up my @ss... anyone know what status 112 is?

Status 112 means that if you call the 800# one more time, they send your order to the back of the line and it delays production for 2 months.

thanks for the info, I also have trouble using the voice commands in loud places like the airport. This will really help, the voice recognition is very touchy.

btw, 800# is behind OC right now for me. On the 800#: Car is on port waiting for a shipping vessel. OC: On its way to preparation center. Is that normal?

I get the same thing! I was wondering what's going on??

When did you order yours?

I placed my order on Dec 21. and went into production Feb 6th.

Thanks...that actually really helps alot!! People were looking at me strangely as well, and the phone can't pick up my commands when I try to whisper...bad thing is that I may spend more time calling in at work!

It says my vehicle is in transit. It was a European Delivery. Does that mean it's in transit back to a ship, on a ship, at the port? Anyone know?
